I dette forløb introduceres eleverne for centrale aspekter af det Britiske Imperium, hvorefter vi fokuserer på Indien i tre overordnede perioder: Colonial India, India after Independence og Modern India.

I dette forløb har vi læst J. D. Salingers roman The Catcher in the Rye med fokus på hovedpersonens udvikling, bogens samtid og skrivestilen. Vi har talt om centrale temaer som depression and mental health, isolation, alienation, conformity and rebellion, fear of growing up, loss of innocence, parents and children, American values, gender roles in the 1950s.

Eleverne har selv (under vejledning) sammensat et forløb om Storbritanniens historie, kultur og samfund samt udvalgt materialer og planlagt aktiviteter med og arbejdsspørgsmål til materialet. Forløbet er drevet af elevernes selvstændighed og interesse. De har arbejdet med at udvælge materiale og overveje, hvordan dette skal analyseres og sat sig ind i deres emner.
