Titel 8 Sci-fi and Speculative Fiction (Exam Topic)

Sci-Fi

Tekster:
Kurt Vonnegut "2BR02B"
Phillip K. Dick "Human Is"
Ray Bradbury "The Veldt"

Titel 9 Værklæsning: Animal Farm

Animal Farm is a critique of Russian Communism disguised as a children's story about animals. Reading this novel should illustrate for the students that a piece of fiction can function as an allegory, in this case a political one. The students will learn pre-reading, while-reading and post-reading skills for reading longer texts analytically. The novel is also an excellent case study of the modes of appeal and the persuasive power of words (rhetoric). Lastly, the students will improve their skills at applying various analytical terms to a fiction text.

Titel 10 WW1 Poetry (Exam Topic)
