The Tragedy of Macbeth EKSAMENSEMNE
CONTENT: The Elizabethan Era, William Shakespeare and The Tragedy of Macbeth. Forløbet starter med en introduktion til William Shakespeare og særligt til hvad der historisk, kulturelt og sprogligt karakterisrerede the Elizabetha Era og Early Modern English. Herefter læser vi udvalgte scener der viser karakterudviklingen for Macbeth og Lady Macbeth og deres forhold. Vi fokuserer desuden på den afgørende rolle for the Weird Sisters og på hvilken rolle evil spirits og superstition spiller for plottet.
