- Strange Fruit: analysis of poem (rhyme, rythm/metre, stanza, verse line, symbolism, connotation, historical context
- Uncle Tom's Cabin: analysis of the novel: (Characterization, irony, dialect, POV, voice of the narrator, historical context)
- "I have a Dream": analysis of speech: (retorical pentagram, retorical features, imagery, simile, metaphor, alliteration, anaphora, historical context (circumstances).
- A True Story: genre and author, fiction vs. non-fiction, narrative features in journalism, AAVE dialect (Afro-American Vernacular English) features, racial stereotype, plot.
- Obama's speech on Race: retorical pentagram, topic, anecdote, white anger vs. black anger, circumstances, message.
Forløbet har afslutningsvis indeholdt et miniprojekt med presentation og mundtlig fremlæggelse om Black Lives Matter bevægelsen og dens kamp for at bekæmpe racisme og racial profiling.
