Denmark and the global economy
In this course we explore key conditions in the global economy and more particularly we focus on the consequences for Denmark’s growth and prosperity in a globalized world.
We will explore the opportunities and threats of globalisation for Danish companies and jobs. In order to do so, we must be familiar with general conditions in the global economy. This also implies that we must address the significance of economic integration and the ongoing economic crisis in the European Union.
All these aspects will qualify the discussion of policies which may be conducted in order to improve Danish competitiveness, increase growth and create new jobs in Denmark – in the short term and long term.
