Titel 1 Introduction to Danish in preIB

The theme focuses on an introduction to Danish - literature and language - and tries to establish knowledge about every student's level of Danish spoken and written.

Overall we look into what kind of a subject Danish is in IB and introduce to Danish history, culture and literature.

The theme focuses on fairytales and their universal characteristics with reference to the different countries and cultures the students belong to.

Forløbet fokuserer på samspillet mellem individ og samfund og trækker tråde fra dansk historie fra vikingetiden og frem til nutiden og sætter de historiske perioder i relation til litteraturhistorien.

- To introduce the students to Danish culture and make them reflect on identity, nationality and cultural aspects of Danish society
- To develop language skills such as writing, listening, speaking and reading in relation to each student´s academic level
- To broaden the student´s vocabulary and understanding of Danish culture
- To introduce the student to Danish text material in different levels of difficulty regarding the student’s prior knowledge of text written in Danish

Skills
The aim is:
- To make the students able to read a variety of different Danish texts on basis on their different language levels.
- To make the students able to write shorter or longer tasks on basis on their different language levels
- To make the students reflect on Danish culture in relation to other cultures

Social:
The aim is:
- To make the students comfortable to speak, read and write Danish according to their individual language level
- To make the students know each other through a range of different tasks in pairs and groups
- To create an open and safe learning environment often in smaller groups

Forløbet centrerer sig om Bille Augusts filmatisering (2018) af Henrik Pontoppidans roman "Lykke-Per" og fokuserer på forholdet mellem værk og film.

Titel 7 Medier: gamle og nye platforme

Forløbet tager afsæt i det nye mediebillede, særligt inden for politisk kommunikation, hvor sociale medier spiller en afgørende rolle for personlig branding og strategisk formidling af politik. Forløbet fokuserer særligt på definitioner af hhv. analoge og digitale medier, mediebilledet i dag og sociale medier som platforme i særdeleshed ift. det politiske landskab. Klassen arbejder derfor især med danske og udenlandske politikeres brug og branding på forskellige sociale medier.
