Class in England EKSAMEN
Dette forløb undersøger, hvordan socialklasse stadig præger det engelske samfund – og hvordan den baggrund, en person vokser op med, i høj grad er med til at afgøre, hvilken uddannelse vedkommende tager, og hvilke jobmuligheder der efterfølgende åbner sig.
England er et oplagt udgangspunkt for diskussioner om klasse: landet har en lang og synlig klassehistorie, et uddannelsessystem med tydelige skel (fx de private public schools versus statslige skoler) og aktuelle politiske debatter om ulighed og social mobilitet.
