The Evil Within
In this short course, we will discuss and reflect on the concept of evil. What is evil? How has it been portrayed and processed in fiction? How is it discussed by philosophers and scientists?
(Lastly, we will watch an episode of the satirical comedy show South Park and discuss its take on evil in the intertextual episode “Britney’s New Look.”)

Dystopian Literature (+ "Hunger Games")
Forløbet bestod primært af grundig og langvarig værklæsning af Collins' "The Hunger Games" med særligt fokus på dystopiens genretræk, fiction analysis (primært characterization, setting and narrative technique), perspektivering til og refleksion over forskelle og ligheder med filmatiseringen af romanen, samt introduktion til literary criticism/feminist readings, samt perspektiver til 1g (amerikanske værdier og selvforståelse). Eleverne trænede desuden intensivt short summary og paraphrasing, og producerede podcast.
