The US - election issues (EKSAMEN)
Med udgangspunkt i USA's tidlige historie og amerikanske værdier hos de første immigranter, sætter vi fokus på det amerikanske præsidentvalg. Emnet dækker opbygningen af det politiske system i USA og forløbet i valget, og vi læser taler af tidligere præsident Donald Trump og demokraternes kandidat, Kamala Harris.
To centrale valgtemaer - immigration og abort - dækkes i fiktion (sangtekster, spillefilm) og non-fiktion (taler, artikler, dokumentar, nyhedsklip), og på den måde får vi forskellige fortællinger fra og om USA.
