Homework: Read or finish reading the excerpt from The Circle - attached. Those who finished reading in class must answer the comprehension questions (also to be found in Onenote where you can write the answers) Homework: read the Danish article “Om få år ryster vi på hovedet af, hvad vi tillod i undervisningen” (also attached) (Re-)read the text from Tuesday - the text we will use for the next assignment Things that will happen if I dont_The New Yorker_2015.pdf description homework: sørg for at have skrevet jeres næste skriftlige aflevering (the Daily shout) - så får I en halv time til at skrive/lave analysedelen, som jo skal screencastes i afleveringen.

I timen skal I læse kapitel 1 af The Hunger Games (og lave arbejdsspørgsmål til), mens jeg laver karaktersamtaler. description Vi følger op på Hunger Games - så lektien er at være færdig med alle arbejdsspørgsmålene i Onenote til teksten. We will read the following article in class: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay's bombed-out dystopia is all too familiar: it could be Syria, Gaza or Iraq Homework: Watch the video explaining and summarizing George Orwell's novel Nineteen-Eighty-Four: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1-2y2XELxU Or the the slightly shorter (and a bit easier) video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9JIKngJnCU Homework: finish the study questions for 1984 (the comprehension and analysis questions in OneNote) Homework: Re-read the assigned article Homework: read the assignment description for today (to be found under 'opgaver') - the assignment that we will write in class today Homework: watch the video about The Handmaid's Tale I første modul arbejder I videre med The Handmaid's Tale, mens I får individuel mundtlig feedback til jeres indledninger. Dernæst skal I i næste modul skrive videre på jeres argumentative essay. Vi bruger lige ½ time på at skrive, hvor de sidste også lige får feedback på indledning (afleveringen er lagt til på søndag nu). Vi følger op på The Handmaid's Tale. Lektie:

Indhold	Kernestof: Homework: read (part of or the whole) the shortstory The Veldt by Ray Bradbury. We will spend 15 minutes reading in class, but if you need more, read it at home Lektie: lav lektien om indledning på minlæring (der er både noget der skal læses grundigt, en video der skal ses, og to korte øvelser der skal laves - der står det tager 18 min.) Homework: make sure you have sources to begin writing an introduction to your 'technology report'. See the assignment attached SO2_opgaveformulering.pdf description Lektie: færdigskriv så vidt muligt jeres 'introduction' til SO2-opgaven. I timen skal vi nemlig arbejde med feedback til opgaven, så den skal være rimelig tæt på færdig.

Reading a novel

This course is an exercise in independent reading and analysis of fiction. You must read a novel of your own choice, as long as it is fiction, and the novel must be read at home, with a deadline to have finished the novel. We will work with tools to analyze and interpret fiction.
