We are to examine the musical genres unique to the US.

We shall learn basic music theory as well as the structure of pop-songs.

Then we shall look specifically at the genres of Rock, Rap and Country, all in relation to American history and culture.

We move on to examining two of the many controversial topics of the US political sphere and investigating how they play into the up-coming election.
