Titel 1	Black Lives Matter- THUG (Eksamen) Reading the novel The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas and examining the background of the novel, as well as the real-life issues it addresses. The Hate U Give is a work of contemporary American literature within the wave of social justice and activism, and we have focused on these themes while reading the novel. - To explore the historical context of the relationship between African Americans and police officers. -To explore Starr´s identities and how she switches between them based on her situation. - To examine media representations of White and African American suspects and victims.
