They will be able to identify typical elements characterizing the fantasy genre (i.e. setting, characters, inventory and structure) and a few different subgenres hereof (i.e. high, urban, fairy tale, fable and superhero). The course will end in a short individual presentation of a selfchosen piece of fiction in which all fantasy traits will be identified. Der kigges på Women's Rights Movement gennem Gloria Steinem's tale til kongressen og Aretha Franklin's version af "RESPECT."

Titel 3	The Oscars at GHG Alle skolens studieretnings 2g-klasser arbejder med filmproduktion med det formål at øge elevernes bevidsthed om analyse af dette medie. I den forbindelse berøres fagtermer som: - Framing - Focus - Camera angles - Lighting and colours - Camera movement - Sound - Editing Foruden begreber som: surprise, suspense, foreshadowing og 'the Dutch angle" Hele forløbet afsluttes med et stort arrangeret Oscar Galla Event med prisuddelinger og takketaler.

Titel 4	Suburbia (33 s) Med afsæt i en generel diskussion om forstæder og deres kvaliteter i USA vs. DK (og med afsæt i elevernes egne erfaringer), diskuteres forstæderne og deres karakteristika i en række tekster. Blandt de centrale diskussioner er familiernes tiltrækning af forstæderne, unges frastødning, ensartetheden/konformiteten, og generelt fordele og ulemper ved at bo i forstæderne. Ligeledes inddrages nedslag i britisk historie ift. forstædernes oprindelse og funktion. Nutidens London inddrages ligeledes kort som case.
