Titel 1 Different Worlds and Globalization - EKSAMENSEMNE

After a short introduction to the history of the English Language and the spread of English, this unit will explore different texts concerning the topic of different worlds - cultural, social and economic differences - as well as the topics of clash of cultures and globalization.

These topics will primarily be focused on the English speaking world, but comparisons to Denmark will also be made.
Throughout the course of the unit, the pupils will be introduced to different literary genres, as well as non-fiction texts.

Et kort forløb med fokus på fremlæggelse med brug af talepapir.

Emnet er "Songs with a message" og I klassen læser/hører vi følgende sange:

Black Eyed Peas: "Where is the Love"
John Lennon: "Imagine"
The Cranberries: "Zombie"

vi fokuserer på, hvordan man analyserer lyrik samt kommunikationssituationen i sange samt analyse af musikvideoer. Derefter arbejder eleverne i grupper om en selvvalgt sang (with a message), som de fremlægger for resten af klassen.
