We work with the theme food waste / overconsumption. We read different texts about our overconsumption in the industrialised world. In groups you make pamphlets based on some of the articles in the compendium. You present the pamphlet to me (and an opponent group).

Titel 2 Health

Within the theme health, we mainly focus on the problem of obesity. We read several articles about this modern life challenge, and we discuss the many health related problems we might face in the future if we don’t come up with good solutions, hence focus is on the consequences – both politically, socially and personally - of not living as we ought to and how to face the obesity related challenges.
We finish the theme with an oral presentation on health related issues of your own choice.

Addressing the theme of driverless cars takes us to a more general discussion about technology in the future. In groups, you present articles about the newest technology within driverless cars.

The English speaking world - from Colonisation to Multicultural Britain
We talk about The British Empire and compare the time back then to what is happening in the UK today.
We also deal with the English language and the history of the UK, as well as the confusion - England/Britain/GB/UK - what's in a name?
We read texts about the British Empire, cultural differences today and Britain being a multicultural society.
Focus is on pronounciation as well as getting used to communicating in English.
