American Stereotypes
Eleverne skal kunne redegøre for centrale historiske, kulturelle, politiske og samfundsmæssige forhold i USA. Dette gøres ud fra et fokus på forskellige letforståelige stereotyper, som ofte knyttes til det amerikanske samfund.
Eleverne skal gennem analyse af primært ikke-fiktive tekster få en forståelse for det amerikanske samfund og samfundsværdier samt centrale begivenheder i amerikansk historie.
Eleverne skal kunne diskutere, hvordan et folk som en del af en førende supermagt på mange måder kan betragtes som værende bagud i det moderne, globaliserede samfund.
