Litteraturhistorisk forløb: Tekster og øvrigt materiale præsenterer i fiktion og non-fiktion hovedtræk ved den engelsksprogede krimigenre fra begyndelsen i 1800-tallet til nutiden. I dette indgår undergenrer som 'jigsaw puzzle', 'whodunnit', 'hardboiled', 'psychological' og 'post-modern'. I arbejdet med den enkelte tekst fokuseres på tids- og genretypiske træk.
