The American Election

Evil and Knife Crime in the UK
Med afsæt i fire typer af ondskab undersøges forskellige definerende sager i Storbritannien, såsom The terror attack on Westminster; The Yorkshire Ripper and the Bulger murder.

EKSAMEN: Apology and apologia
What is a defense strategy? What is a shitstorm? Why do they happen and what can be done about them?
The course focuses on apology and apologia. What are the strategies that a person, country or company can employ when they need to defend, or apologize for, their actions?
Along the way, students are introduced to rhetoric as a concept as well as analytical vocabulary specific to apology and apologia: kairos, evasion, mortification etc.
Material will be state apologies, celebrity apologies, political apologies and youtube apologies.
Students will along the course make their own apology videos, showcasing what they have learned.
During this course the students have been working with rhetorical devices and rhetoric in general - focusing on non-fiction.
