Beskrivelse af de enkelte undervisningsforløb (1 skema for hvert forløb)

Titel 1	Non-Fiction Forløbet introducerer eleverne til genren Non-fiction og sætter særlig fokus på taler og reklamer. Eleverne lærer at analysere non-fiction tekster ved hjælp af bl.a. det retoriske pentagram, retoriske virkemidler og appelformer. Forløbet sætter desuden uden fokus på typisk Trump-retorik. Sideløbende med elevernes non-fiction-analyser, har vi fokus på, hvordan disse kan oversættes til skrift og øver dermed den ene af de skriftlige opgaver eleverne kan møde til deres skriftlige eksamen: non-fiction essayet. Slutteligt træner vi, hvordan man skriver et summary. Titel 6	Multicultural Britain (EKSAMEN) Dette forløb har haft fokus på det multikulturelle Storbritannien og den historiske baggrund herfor. Den første del af forløbet fungerer som baggrundsinformation og tager derfor udgangspunkt i Det Britiske Imperium, hvor eleverne læser og samler information for at få en forståelse for imperiets karakteristika, fald og arv. I den forbindelse læser eleverne også litterære tekster fra de Britiske kolonier, som på hver deres måde illustrerer Imperiets betydning, udfordringer og konflikter. I forløbets anden del ser eleverne nærmere på det multikulturelle Storbritanien i nyere tid. Her kommer de bl.a. til at beskæftige sig med identitetsproblematikker, culture clashes og synet på Storbritanien som multikulturelt samfund i både film og tekster. I forbindelse med arbejdet med filmen Bend it Like Beckham, novellen "Karma" samt yderligere artikler og dokumentarudsendelser har eleverne desuden lært om vigtige samfundsmæssige og kulturelle aspekter i Indien, navnligt arrangerede ægteskaber. Endeligt stifter eleverne bekendtskab med konceptet om Lingua Franca.
