Titel 1
1) Art Discussion: What is Art?
Criteria for art (discussion on the basis of your thoughts written in you visual arts journal)
1) First I'll show you different examples of artworks.
2) Then you must consider and write in your visual arts journal:
What is art and what is not? What are the criteria for art? (duration: about 20 minutes)
3) You present your thoughts about the criteria for art written in your journal.
4) Discussion in the class.
5) For Xxxday xx/8 you must find 2 artworks:
• One you regard as real art which has artistic values
• One you regard as fake art which has no artistic value from your point of view
Print them out on paper and glue them in to your visual arts journal with a brief description of them and with your explanation of the artistic values of both artefacts.
Your research must be presented orally for the class. Duration of the oral presentation: 5-10 minutes.
Note: Please make a simple PowerPoint for your presentation with the chosen pictures and upload it as an assignment.

THEORY PART:
1) Write in your visual arts journal about the issues mentioned above (about 1-2 pages and eventually with picture examples):
a) Define the word nacissism!
b) What is a self portrait and what is the purpose of it?
c) What is a selfie and what is the purpose of it?
PRACTICAL PART:
2) Make in your journal sketches with ideas for self representation of yourself.
3) Create the "Best Version of Yourself" in a media of your own choice (drawing, painting, photo etc.)
4) Create "The Worst Version of Yourself" in a media of your own choice.
