Literary work:
Through the reading and analysis of William Golding's "Lord of the Flies" (1954), we will work with human nature, inner evil, loss of innocence and community vs. individual.
BoW (Body of work):
We will connect the above reading and analysis to a series of WW1 Military Recruitment Posters from Great Britain ( Authorship: The Parliamentary Recruiting Committee) which we will analyse and discuss using the same themes as above. Furthermore, we will work on text specifics in preparation for both the IO and Paper 1.
