Vi har arbejdet med sange, musikvideoer og baggrundsmateriale om forskellige toneangivende amerikanske kvindelige musikere. Eleverne er introduceret til basal tekstanalyse, filmanalyse og kommunikationsanalyse. Eleverne har arbejdet i grupper med fælles fremlæggelser.

Post-apocalyptic fiction (EKSAMEN)
Vi har læst forskellige tekster, der foregår i post-apocalyptiske samfund. Vi har undersøgt årsagerne til post-apocalyptisk fiktion, fx at den afspejler en underliggende frygt i det moderne samfund særligt i krisetid, og hvordan fortællingerne bliver en slags psykologisk forberedelse på det, man frygter vil ske. Vi har fokuseret særligt på virkemidler i vores analyser, herunder symbolik og billedsprog.

India and the British Empire (EKSAMEN)
Eleverne skal med forløbet opnå et kendskab til Storbritannien som kolonimagt samt Indien, den kontrastfyldte indiske kultur, de historiske og moderne, aktuelle forhold samt Indiens tidligere status som koloni i det britiske imperium. Eleverne vil således særligt analysere tekster omhandlende forholdet mellem Indien og den tidligere kolonimagt og også læse post-kolonial litteratur.
Eleverne har i forløbet lavet mundtlige oplæg om forskellige emner i forhold til Indien - fx Indian food, Indian traditions, The caste system mm.
