British Empire and Postcolonial voices (eksamen)
This course will focus on literary and non-fiction texts about the British empire. Taking our starting point in Victorian Britain, we shall look at the influence of the British colonial powers on the indigenous populations in selected countries and examine the cultural clashes and consequences of the settlements. How has colonialism affected the countries?
