Paper 1: The Move to Global War
In the Move to Global War, we look at Germany, Italy, and Japan in the 1920s and 1930s with a specific focus on their expansionist foreign policies.
The key themes of Move to Global War are: the causes of expansionism, the main events/actions of each country that contributed to a rise in tension and, finally, the international reactions to these events and actions.
We use Oxford's "The Move to Global War" as our main textbook, supplemented with Youtube-videos, material from InThinking, and original sources - all linked on the lessons.
