Ballroom dance
In this course the students will try the three different Ballroom dances Cha cha cha, English walzt and Jive. In the final lesson the students will in pairs show a panel of judges (teachers from other subjects) a choreography. May the best pair win.
Professional goals:
Within the dances Cha Cha Cha, English Waltz, and Jive:
Have technical skills regarding the placement and movement of the feet, legs, and hips in the dance
Have technical skills regarding posture and dance holds
Know several different dance variations
Combine the variations into short sequences within the chosen dance
Master a longer routine
Move in time with the music
Begin on the correct beat in the music
Be able to lead a partner / be led by a partner

Pickleball
The purpose of the course is to provide a basic introduction to the rules, techniques, and tactics of pickleball. First, the grip and the different shots are learned. After that, the shots are combined into various shot sequences, and a lot of matches are played.
Many of the shots are practiced on a half-court to get as many touches on the ball as possible, but doubles matches are frequently played.
Learning Objectives:
• Know the shots: serve, basic stroke/return, dink, drop shot, lob & volley/smash
• Be familiar with the basic rules of pickleball
• Reasonable proficiency in the basic stroke, dink, volley, and drop shot (both forehand and backhand)
• Reasonable proficiency in the serve, return, and smash on the forehand side
• Be able to execute shot sequences where the intent behind the shot is clearly visible
Have a tactical understanding of both the ball's placement and one's own positioning on the court
