1. Growing Up and Family Relations (eksamen)
Fokus er på introduktion til faget samt på anvendelse af sproget og udvikling af ordforrådet. Desuden introduceres eleverne til grammatikken og brugen af ordbøger samt grammatikbogen og andre opslagsværker. Eleverne introduceres til analyse af forskellige genre af både non-fiction og fiction.
Eleverne læser forskelligartede tekster om emnet 'Growing Up and Family Relations', hvor nogle tekster passer til elevernes egen referenceramme, og andre giver ny indsigt i temaer under emnet. Der er fokus på brugen af sproget og udvide ordforrådet.
Faglige mål, der er arbejdet med i forløbet:
- Forstå mundtligt og skriftligt engelsk om almene og faglige emner.
- Beherske et varieret ordforråd, som gør det muligt at deltage i en - samtale og diskussion på engelsk.
