Beskrivelse af de enkelte undervisningsforløb (1 skema for hvert forløb)
Titel 1
Growing Up EKSAMEN
Eleverne introduceres til engelsk i gymnasiet med afsæt i et udvalg af fiktive tekster, hvor vi ser nærmere på forskellige aspekter forbundet med overgangen fra barn/ung til voksen. Gennem nedslag i forskellige fiktive genrer (short stories, drama, poem), trænes eleverne i at analysere og fortolke samt at benytte relevant fagterminologi/analysebegreber. Herudover introduceres essay-genren gennem arbejde med PEE(L)-strukturen. Sidst men ikke mindst har vi løbende fokus på læsestrategier, noteteknik og mundtlighed i forskelligartede øvelser og en videoaflevering.

Bring a pen and your pc :)
1. Watch the first 5:43 minutes of the 2013 PBS Documentary “Makers: Women Who Make America” on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVB3jM3bGSY and listen closely to what Alice Walker tells us about her childhood, her parents, sharecropping and the time.
2. Look up the words ‘myopia’, ‘sharecropper’ and ‘noose’ in the Advanced Learner’s Dictionary https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english and write down the definition of each word.
Do the assigned homework for nouns (substantiver/navneord) on Minlæring! You can access it from the homepage. The homework takes around 15 minutes to do (depending on your speed) and will prepare you for more grammar exercises during class :)
Please bring earbuds (AirPods, headset etc.) as you'll need to listen to something on your laptop/phone during class.
Do the assigned homework on Minlæring (named "Singularis og pluralis + artikler). This will take you around 15-20 minutes to do and will prepare you for more grammar exercises at the beginning of class!
Do the assigned homework on Minlæring titled "Genitiv 1". This will take you around 25 minutes to do (if you didn't do it in class Monday) and will help prepare you for more exercises in class.

Divided Britain
Længere forløb med fokus på det klasseinddelte og multikulturelle Storbritannien. Forløbet har til formål at løfte elevernes kendskab til Storbritanniens historie og samfundsforhold, samt de konflikter klassesamfundet har skabt mellem rig- og fattig og briter og immigranter. I den forbindelse er der et særligt kig på arven fra imperiet, indvandringen fra koloniernes betydning for det moderne Storbritannien, samt de stadig større og mere tydelige skel mellem de enkelte klasser i det britiske samfund kulminerende med Brexit.
