Beskrivelse af de enkelte undervisningsforløb (1 skema for hvert forløb)
Titel 1 Poco-voices Postcolonialism

The main focus in the theme Postcolonial (POCO) Voices has been on different postcolonial texts that illustrate how writers born in Nigeria and Kenya aim at resisting colonialist views and stereotypes even if they are living in diaspora. In Poco literature this is done by writing back to the West, a postcolonial term that states the importance of writing ones own story also a rewriting of the past. The former British Empire’s narrative of the colonizer and the colonized has been rewritten and challenged in different ways in the postcolonial texts we have analyzed.
