Forløbet dækker emner inden for sociale medier og branding, herunder hvordan disse værktøjer effektivt kan anvendes i en virksomheds sammenhæng. Forløbet undersøger fordele og ulemper ved brug af sociale medier til opbygning af et brand, samt de personlige konsekvenser ved brugen af sociale medier. Et centralt eksempel er LUSH's beslutning om at forlade sociale medier, som fremhæves for at illustrere, hvordan virksomheder kan træffe strategiske valg baseret på deres værdier og mål..

Titel 10 Theme #9: Aspects of branding (EXAM)

In this course, students have examined key aspects of branding. The course has focused on different forms of brand washing, including woke washing, and the students have examined how global brands use social and political messages as part of their branding strategies. Through case studies such as the branding of Starbucks and the rebranding efforts of Abercrombie & Fitch, students have analysed how brands adapt to changing consumer expectations and cultural trends. The course has also covered contemporary branding debates, including the role of Sydney Sweeney in advertising campaigns and discussions surrounding American Eagle.

Titel 11 Theme #10: From British Empire to Brexit (EXAM)

In this course, students have examined the development of Britain from the height of the British Empire to the challenges and debates of contemporary Britain. In the beginning of the course the students were given a historical overview of the British Empire, focusing on its economic and political foundations as well as its cultural and human consequences for both Britain and its colonies. Subsequently the students explored the period following decolonisation, including migration from former colonies to the UK, with particular emphasis on the experiences of the Windrush Generation. Finally, the course investigated the causes and consequences of Brexit and explored current debates on immigration, British economy and Britain’s place in the world.
