Titel 1

Sci-Fi, AI and Ethics

The theme will be an exploration of the overall questions: Is technology a blessing or a curse? Does modern technology pose a danger to individual freedom? How can we tell the difference between humans and AI?

Methods:Our focus will be on choosing adequate analytical tools when analyzing non-fiction (argumentation analysis), fiction (characterization and narrative technique) and film analysis (cinematic technique)
Creative writing has been part of the theme resulting in the individual creation of "What if?" stories.

Titel 2	Inequality and Social Mobility in the US Focus for this course is the current political situation in the US in relation to inequality, social mobility and race. Socio economical and educational factors in relation to social inequality will be discussed. Titel 4	Class and the British Political Landscape (exam) Taking our starting point in the UK riots, the summer of 2024 between rightwing activists and their attacks on immigrants, the theme will investigate the relationship between politics, education and class in the UK. The theme involves taking a look at British identity and whether it is cultural or national. The political players, the Conservative party and Labour, plus the British election system compared to the Danish election system. Political role plays and presentations of British Prime Ministers' politics since 1979 have been part of the theme. The focus of class and politics has been investigated through the representation in film and literature.
