Titel 1 Twisted Minds 🧠

”Twisted Minds: Approaching written texts” er et forløb, der arbejder med at styrke elevernes analytiske evner, når de læser fiction og non-fiction. Teksterne i forløbet har samme tematiske omdrejningspunkt, twisted minds, og der oparbejdes et ordforråd til dette tema samt trænes i at kunne perspektivere de forskellige tekster til hinanden.
Eleverne skal især opnå kendskab til, hvordan man genfortæller, hvordan man laver en personkarakteristik, og hvordan ting kommer til udtryk eksplicit og implicit, når der arbejdes med fiction.

Når der arbejdes med non-fiction, er fokus på elevernes evne til at kunne forholde sig kritisk til den fremlagte information og til at udpege sproglige elementer, der angiver bl.a. vinkling og tone i teksterne.

Titel 3 Superheroes

Forløbet omhandler forskellige superhelte fra Marvel og mere ukendte superhelte. Det tager udgangspunkt i film,og non-fiktionstekster. Emnet belyser superheltes udvikling i fiktionen. Der gås i dybden med karakteranalyse og filmanalyse. Der ses i den forbindelse blandt andet på arketyper, og The Hero's Journey.
Der arbejdes i non-fiction med intention og rhetorical devices.
Udvalgte vigtige begreber: Archetypes: Hero, lover, sidekick, villain, Hero's journey: call to adventure, threshold, challenges and temptations, rebirth, transformation, return.
Rhetorical analysis: sender, receiver, intention, ethos, pathos, logos, metaphor

Is it All about Love?

A course focusing on the changing views on love and marriage as well as expectations of gender roles from Pride and Prejudice over Bridget Jones to Normal People.

We have read texts from the mid and late 1800s and from the 1980s, 2000s, and the present day.There is also a focus on oral presentation of interpretation and analysis of fiction.

Subjects for analysis and discussion:
The norms of society concerning love and marriage in the 1800's.
The roles and rights of women in the 1800's compared to the 1900's and today
The shifting dynamics in relationships as gender norms and views of love change.

Titel 5 American Dreams and Nightmares 🗽Eksamen


We have studied American values, with a special focus on the concept of the American Dream – including independence, freedom, and equal opportunities as described in The Declaration of Independence and The New Colossus. We have examined what the American Dream looks like for different groups in American society, looking both at how the middle class (such as a young Schwarzenegger) and for Black Americans (African-Americans), discussion issues such as: equality, opportunity, inequality, discrimination, stereotypes, police brutality and privilege.


Analytically, we have worked with both non-fiction and fiction (short stories, novel, poetry, and film).

Class in the UK

Upstairs and Downstairs.

How does class affect the British?
In this topic we look into the lives of the British working Class, the  middle class and the upper class. We are going to focus on how the class system is structured, which values the different classes have and which conditions they live under.
This will include a look at what football means for the working class.
Furthermore we will analyze and discuss how important it seems to ascend to a higher class and finally discuss the values and priviledges of the upper class.
