Titel 9	Global Voices I forløbet "Global Voices: Postcolonialism, Language and Identity" arbejdes med tekster skrevet af forfattere fra tidligere britiske kolonier. Gennem analyser af engelsksprogede tekster fra forskellige postkoloniale kontekster - herunder Antigua, Jamaica, Sydafrika, Nigeria og New Zealand - undersøger vi temaer som identitet, kulturel assimilation, sproglig magt, racisme, migration og oplevelsen af at navigere mellem flere kulturer. Derudover berører vi kort begrebet lingua franca. Forløbet bevæger sig på tværs af genrer og inddrager både fiktion og sagprosa. Eleverne arbejder med, hvordan postkoloniale erfaringer kommer til udtryk i forskellige teksttyper, herunder personlige erindringer, essays og romaner.
