Beskrivelse af de enkelte undervisningsforløb (1 skema for hvert forløb)

Titel 1	Growing up Kernestof: Indian Camp, Ernest Hemingway The Flowers, Alice Walker The Shining Mountain, Alison Fell Mother to Son, Langston Hughes Dead Poets Society (Movie) Steve Jobs' Commencement Address Grammatiske områder: Ordklasser Sætningsanalyse Kongruens Verber (særligt præsens, præteritum. Perfektum og pluskvamperfektum er blevet introduceret) Med det overordnede tema "Growing up" har eleverne arbejdet med forskellige genrer og perspektiver på det at vokse op/udvikle sig. Fokus har særligt være at læse og forstå engelsksprogede tekster samt basal litteraturanalyse/filmanalyse (narrator, characters, setting, theme, message, framing, angle, sound and lighting). Derudover er eleverne blevet introduceret til det retoriske pentagram i arbejdet med Steve Jobs' commencement address. Eleverne har også stiftet bekendtskab med konceptet "home - out - home", som har været relevant i flere af de læste tekster.
