American dreams and nightmares EXAM
Forløbet er i forlængelse af "The American Dream" forløb i 1. g., hvor fokus var på begreb "The American Dream". Andel del af forløbet handler nu om alt det, der går imod ideen bag den Amerikanske Drøm i nutidens USA. Vi belyser især tre områder: inequality, racism (being black in America) and gun violence. Alle tre er med til at mindske chancen for mange almindelig amerikanere til at opnå deres Amerikansk drøm. Forløbet inkluderer værklæsning "The Hate U Give" og dermed øget fokus på systemisk racisme i nutidens USA. Forløbet indeholder også fremlæggelser om forskellige vigtige begivenheder i "Black History"
