Titel 1	The repercussions of Empire We'll briefly round off the shared 2.g topic about the British empire. The text studied (among others) were: Kushwant Singh: "Karma" (short story) Chimamanda Adichie: "The Danger of a Single Story" (TED Talk) Uzor Maxim Uzoat: "Football Made in Nigeria" (short story) Our focus will be on the repercussions of Empire and Partition in India and Pakistan as well as in contemporary Britain. Titel 3	Macbeth: Ambition and Power Hvorfor er Shakespeares værker stadig aktuelle og vedkommende i dag? Vi læser uddrag af Shakespeares tragedie Macbeth og ser løbende klip fra udvalgte filmatiseringer. Læsningen suppleres med uddrag fra Macbeth - The Graphic Novel - og dennes mere visuelle virkemidler. Afslutningsvis ser vi Kurzel's filmatisering fra 2015. Keywords: universal themes, power, ambition, fate, the Elizabethan world picture, the Great Chain of Being, the Globe Theatre, drama, prophecy, tragic hero/tragedy.
