Titel 1 Pattern and Identity

All countries and all cultures have their own specific pattern as part of their culture. The pattern might represent subcultures, local traditions, national symbols or serve as decorative architectural elements.
We can easily recognize an aboriginal dot painting, an Islamic mosaic or an Eastern European blanket etc. In this project you are going to look into the tradition of patterns of a selected culture.

Your artwork must incorporate

1: A photographic representation of a person you are closely related to (parent, grand parent)

2: One or more clear visual references to a pattern from their personal cultural background.
Art form: 2D or mixed media.
