Childhood
A look at the lives of children around the world, primarily in the UK and the US.
Focus will be on the values different cultures associate with a 'good childhood' as well as how different parents go about raising their children. Free range parenting, education and children's literature will be included, as well as the student's own thoughts and experiences with being a child/having children.
Focus will primarily be on getting the students to discuss topics based on their own exeperiences and opinions, but there will also be beginner's level fiction analysis, especially focussing on characterisation and langauge clues to mood.

A short topic focussing on the 2024 Presidential election in the USA. Focus has been on the voting system and what some of the major issues in the country are, as well as thoughts on Donald Trump.
Rhetorical analysis and bias have been main focus points when reading the articles.

A study of Gothic Literature and other scary stories. Focus will primarily be on typical genre traits, some background for the gothic period and literary genre and reader expectations, as well as analytical approaches to mood, characterisation & reliability of a narrator or character, suspense and foreshadowing. Also, a focus on how to structure analytical points/interpretation using PEE.

At lære om the British Empire og dets historiske betydning for hvordan verden ser ud i dag.
Der har færet fokus på den historiske udbredelse af The Empire samt punktedslag i forskellige specifikke kolonier med forskelligartede historier og roller i imperiet.
Der har været et fokuspunkt omkring inperialistisk ideologi og et kritisk perpektiv på den Britiske selvforstålse som kolonimagt.
INDHOLD
Der er arbejdet med en blanding af forskellige fiction og non-fiction tekster og anvendt relevante analyseredskaber.

METODER
Der er arbejdet med en blanding af gruppearbejde og lærerfrontet undervisning og selvstændigt arbejde. I arbejdet med teksterne er anvendt forskellige relevante analysemetoder: billedanalyse, fiktionsanalyse, nonfiktionsanalyse.
