The class will dive into British and American influencers and examine their universes and the way they engage in the world and how they use language as a tool. The focus is on developing a vocabulary for analysis and interpretation of language: - morphology: the use and effect of the different word classes. - sentence types: the use and effect of declarative, interrogative, imperative and exclamatory sentences. - semantics: the use and effect of semantical choices.
