Canada, USAs nabo mod nord og Rigsfællesskabets nabo mod vest. Et land som deler en række fællestræk med både USA, men faktisk også med dele af Rigsfællesskabet Grønland.
Dette forløb kigger både på historiske og aktuelle begivenheder der har været med til at forme Canada, som det ser ud i dag – herunder et særlig nedslag på den oprindelige befolkning i Nunavut og deres historie.
Forløbet kigger også på fordele og ulemper ved Canada og USA og hvilke ligheder og forskellige vi kan se ved de to lande. Herunder kigger vi også på canadisk og amerikansk identitet og muligheden for et dual citizenship.
Forløbet kigger også på egenskaberne ved Canadas multikulturelle samfund og hvordan dette kan siges at være en fordel og ulempe for landet og borgerne – bl.a illustreret igennem kinesiske tilflyttere.
Med filmen the Grizzlies kigger vi på konsekvenserne af koloniseringen af Canadas oprindelige befolkning, inuit – som deler både slægt og på mange områder også skæbne med de grønlandske inuitter hvor sociale problemer og fattigdom stadig hærger begge områder især i flere mindre bygder. Her perspektiverede vi til forhold og udfordringer for Grønlandske inuit.
Med afsæt i det eneste inuitiske parlamentsmedlem i Canada, Mumilaaq Qaqqaaqs, tilbagetræden kiggede vi også på det retoriske pentagram med et særlig fokus på afsender, modtager og sprog (herunder brugen af patos, logos og etos).
Afslutningsvis kiggede vi på Canadiske residential schools og analyserede Trudeaus undskyldning til den oprindelige befolkning i Canada.

The topic "UK: United or Divided?" focused on the division that Brexit revealed, enhanced and caused.
The main focus was on economic inequality in the UK. We mainly focused on present inequality, but read texts such as "DHSS" to give perspective to the situation in the UK. While focusing on economic inequality we worked with Brexit, The North-South Divide and the general geo-political division of the population.
The topic consisted of a mix of non-fiction and fiction. We worked with articles, poetry, short stories, Instagram Reels, and film.
The students worked with fiction and non-fiction analysis with a focus on building arguments.

Forløbet beskæftiger sig med amerikansk popkultur gennem et af de mest genkendelige ansigter - Taylor Swift.
Forløbet beskæftiger sig med Swifts udvikling over tid, herunder hendes "era"- begreb, hendes sangskrivning og historiefortælling. Sangene behandles ud fra Taylor Swifts egen kategorisering "Fountain Pen, Quill og Glitter Gel Pen". Ydermere beskæftiger vi os med Taylor Swift som enhvervskvinde, herunder Taylornomics, feminist og politisk aktivist - herunder diskuteres der celebrity endorsement og dets betydning i det kommende Amerikanske valg.
Forløbet afsluttes med et argumentative essay omkring celebrity endorsement in american politics med Taylor Swift som case
Ud over Taylor Swift har forløbet fokus på at præsentere eleverne for en række analysemetoder, for at forberede eleverne best muligt på den forestående SOP. Metoderne afspejles i materialevalget og består bl.a. af:
