Faglige mål / Læringsmål
Forløbet byder på en introduktion til og diskussion af begrebet: multicultural Britain, herunder en forståelse af det postkoloniale England som multikulturelt samfund, og den historiske årsag dertil. Eleverne skal træne tekstanalyse med tematisk fokus på flerkulturel identitet, herunder, digtanalyse og retorisk analyse. Der er også fokus på udvidelse af deres aktive ordforråd, samt skriftlig afleveringer og feedback.
Særlige fokuspunkter: En introduktion til og anvendelse af begreberne:
integration, assimilation, segregation, cultural identity, unconscious bias, cultural markers of identity, mechanisms of exclusion and inclusion, push-pull factors.
