Titel 1	Forløb#1Democracy and political participation Introduction to democracy and different political systems. The students are introduced to different kind of democracy and the Danish political landscape. We look into the role of the mass media in Denmark and internationally. Indhold	Kernestof: Read from the beginning of chapter 5 and read from the beginning of 5.1 and the part of Liberalism. Study questions for the whole chapter: Please read the rest of 5.1 and make your own notes of the rest of the form you worked on in class last monday.5.1: The three classical ideologies: Liberalism, conservatism and socialism \| OPEN UP SOCIETY! The day with the visit of our queen I gave you some booklets to read on the Danish Parliament. Bring them along for the lesson. No Homework. Be sure you have read 6.8: Political participation, rights and obligations - what is the good citizen? (Including the parts on "The national and a fellow citizen" & " The good citizen" AND made good study questions for what you read. Titel 2	Forløb#2 Sociology&identity in late modern society Focus: In the teaching we will focus on the differnt types of societies, what identity formation and socialisation include. We explore how we as individuals form our idendity and how much our identity is form from other factors for instance influenced by familytypes, the surroundings, the social media. We look into what characterise late modernity and how dangers/risks be associated with the individual identity formation process in a late modern society. We will discuss how the individual identity resemble someone else's identity. Besides we will look into different "tools" and methods used in the social sciences. For instance how to collect data, how to define and generate different types of data etc. Sources: Peter Brøndum and Thoir Banke Hansen: "Open Up Society!" Titel 3	Forløb #3 The DK economy in a glob. perspective Focus: Introduction to economics, economy and need fulfillment in Denmark, Economic circuit (circle), economic goals, economic policies, globalization and its consequences for the Danish economy.
