The goal of this unit was to learn more about systemic racism in the United States. Texts focused on racism in various systems in the US including housing, education, the justice system, etc. Students also trained their analytical skills with both fiction and non-fiction texts and a heavy focus was placed on evaluating internet sources and determining whether or not they were reliable.
