Area Study: India (EXAM)
This theme will introduce you to contemporary India and its colonial past. We will study Indian society and its diversity. You will be introduced to issues of India's colonial past, Indian independence from Britain and the Indian caste system. We will work both with fiction and non-fiction texts and focus will be on expanding your vocabulary and strengthening your analytical and communicative skills through a range of exercises. Focus will also be on English as a Lingua Franca.
