Black American Voices (EXAM TOPIC)
In this topic, we have focused on the history of Black Americans, from the time of slavery.
Keywords are slavery, systemic racism, the thirteenth and fourteenth amendment to the constitution, Jim Crow laws, segregation.
We have worked with a variety of genres: Non-fiction texts, a song, a movie, a documentary, a TED-talk.

"Amend: The Fight for America", Episode 1 (2021) (a Netflix series, but we watched it on YouTube).

5. Malcolm X, The Black Panthers, non-peaceful protest
