Titel 5	Worlds of Fantasy Our point of departure in this theme is a study of the typical genre elements found in the study book: Worlds of Fantasy. The material used is a mixed of classic fantasy stories as well as excerpts of contemporary fantasy literature. A main focus is put on the understanding of the genre and its characteristics such as: protagonist/antagonist, high/low fantasy, quest/resolution and magical inventory. Titel 11	The Vietnam War & the American Soldier EXAM This theme examines the profound impact of the Vietnam War on the American soldier, with particular attention to the visible and lasting consequences of the war on both individual veterans and the American society. Special consideration is given to the contrast between the return of World War II soldiers, who were largely celebrated as heroes, and the return of Vietnam veterans, who were often met with indifference or hostility. Additional focus on combat experience and PTSD.
