Abortion in the USA
In November 2024, Amarillo voters in Texas rejected legislation, which would have effectively banned the use of local streets and highways to access out-of-state abortions. This legislation would have prohibited anyone from going to another state for an abortion. ”Horisont: Staten vil eje min gravide krop” was filmed before the rejection of the legislation. The program is still quite interesting since it gives us an opportunity to learn more about the arguments used in the abortion debate.
